OUR RECYCLING POLICY:
We offer a FREE recycling service for all of our customers. Just use the FREEPOST return label on the bottom of your receipt to send your used batteries back for clean and safe disposal.
Laptops, Walkmans, toys, cell phones, calculators - these are just some of the everyday items that need batteries to function. All batteries utilise one or more toxic heavy metals, such as nickel cadmium, alkaline, mercury, nickel metal hydride and lead acid, and it is these materials that can harm the environment if not properly disposed of. As batteries corrode they disgorge their toxic chemical components into the soil which can ultimately poison surrounding land and water courses.
FAQs:
How much is postage?
UK deliveries are charged at £2.50 per order up to 2kg and £7.50 for orders above 2kg. For Europe and the rest of the world deliveries are charged at £5.00 per order up to 2kg and £15.00 for orders above 2kg. Most of our products weight less than 2kg! However certain items cannot be sent outside the UK due to weight restriction. You will be notified of any delivery problems due to this as soon as possible after we receive your order.
How is my order sent?
Your order will be dispatched by first class Royal Mail (or standard AirMail outside the UK), unless it is over a certain weight limit. If this is the case your order will be sent by courier.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders are normally dispatched the same working day by first class Royal Mail (or standard AirMail outside the UK). This means that the majority of our customers receive their order the next day, however we cannot guarantee this. We give a posting guidline of 3-5 days within the UK
When my battery arrives will I need to charge it?
Yes. All our batteries are sent with a small residual charge, but you will need to fully charge it before use. Many batteries, particularly mobile and cordless phone batteries, like to be charged for up to 16 hours the first time. You may need to force the battery to take a charge on the first attempt. If the charger / battery tells you it is fully charged after a short length of time simply remove the battery for its charge, then re-connect it.
