Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before bidding on an auction or buying using 'Buy It Now'.

Our Terms & Conditions have been written to accomodate e-bay, PayPal, Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) and a variety of other governing acts, regulations and guidance.

Our Terms & Conditions are very lengthy and laborious but are designed to adhere to the various advice, rules and regulations and ensure fair and equitable treatment for both you, as the buyer and us, as the seller. 

Ongoing advice is being taken from Trading Standards, Nottingham City Council and we will amend our Terms and Conditions, on their advice.

If you do not understand something, or need further clarification, please message us through ebay's ASQ facility before bidding or buying.

Jargon:

BIN - Buy It Now

Bidder/ buyer -  winner of the auction/ Buy It Now buyer

p&p - postage and packaging

Payment:

1) Payment time:

Payment to be received by us within 7 days of the end of auction or Buy It Now, by an approved payment method listed underneath, or agreed by us before a bid is made.

2) Payment methods for UK buyers:

• PayPal
• Postal Order
• Cheque (please allow 7 working days for cheque to clear) 
• If you want to pay by another method, please contact us before bidding/ buying.

3) Payment methods for non-uk based (international) bidders:

• Paypal only
• If you want to pay by another method, please contact us before bidding/ buying.

Postage, Packaging and Delivery

1) P&P rates

• All p&p rates are listed on each auction or BIN. The p&p price you see listed is the price you pay for that item.
• If we underestimate the p&p, it is our problem.

2) Combining postage on multiple wins/ buys

• It is our policy to combine postage on any multiple buys/ wins within a seven day period, as long as we are aware of them.
• We ask that if you want to bid over several days, you let us know in advance.

3) Loss, damage or delays in transit:

• We, the seller, are responsible for delivering the item/s to you, undamaged.
• We require you, the buyer, to inform us, by e-mail, of any damages within seven working days of receipt of the item.
• If your item isn't delivered within a reasonable time (see below), you must let us know within a reasonable time frame (see below).

i)  Please note, Royal Mail does not consider an item 'lost' until 15 days after posting - we adopt this policy as our own. Please advise us if you have not received your item within 21 days of us confirming receipt of your payment.

ii) For deliveries to Europe by Air Mail, we consider an item 'lost' if it hasn't been received 28 days after posting. Please advise us if you have not received your item within 35 days of us confirming receipt of your payment.

iii) For deliveries to the 'Rest of the World', we consider an item 'lost' if it hasn't been received 35 days after posting. Please advise us if you have not received your item within 42 days of us confirming receipt of your payment.

• We normally ship all items within one working day of clearance of the buyer's payment. We can not be held responsible, in anyway, for delays in delivering your item.

4) Packaging

• We will package your item/s adequately and securely.

Returns

1) In the event of an item being misdescribed on the 'item listing' by us, we will:

• Require that you notify us of the misdescription, by e-mail, within 5 working days of receipt of the item/s.
• Ask you to return the item/s to us for inspection at our ebay registered address within 10 working days of initally notifying us of the alledged misdescription.
• Then, 

i) If we find the goods to HAVE been misdescribed by us, we will refund you the original p&p you paid, the BIN or winning auction bid price plus the 1st class Royal Mail stamp cost for returning the items to us. We may also offer you an exchange, if it is appropriate.

Or if,

ii) If we find the item to NOT HAVE been misdescribed, you will pay p&p for the item to be returned to you. We expect payment for return p&p back to the buyer to be made within 7 working days of sending our decision to you by e-mail. If payment is not received by us within 7 days after advising you of our decision,  we will put your item into storage at a discretionary charge of UK .00/ day. When the storage charges equal or exceed the total price the buyer paid for the item, we will assume you no longer want the item and will dispose of it as we see fit. No refunds or compensation of any kind will be given.

2) Within 7 working days of receipt of the item/s, the buyer decides they no longer want to keep the item, the buyer must:

• firstly, inform us, by e-mail or letter, within 7 working days of receipt of the item, that they are returning the item.
• then, the buyer will return the item to us, at our e-bay registered address, within 14 working days of receipt of the item, at the buyer's own cost.
• The buyer will ensure that the item is returned to us in a similar (not fundamentally different) condition to that in which the item/s were dispatched in.
• We will refund the buyer the price of the winning bid or BIN price. We will decide whether, the original outward (seller to buyer) p&p, will be refunded, or not, on a case by case basis, at our discretion. We will not refund the postage or packaging for returning the item to us.

These Terms & Conditions apply from Saturday 22nd April, 2006.

We reserve the right to amend and correct Terms and Conditions on an adhoc basis.
