The very first finger puppet I ever made was a nurse when I was sitting at my mother's bedside in hospital years and years ago. All the nurses loved them and wanted one for themselves ~ I have never stopped knitting finger puppets since then, and have done hundreds and hundreds of different ones ~ for stories and rhymes etc etc etc or to people's own specifications. The patterns are all in my head or I need to look at the .jpgs of previous ones I have done and put up on ebay. I love a challenge and am very happy when people e-mail me and talk about finger puppets. I am also very happy to personalise the finger puppets as to their skin colour and to sew on eyes for younger children, instead of gluing googly eyes to some of the individual ones that I normally use googly eyes on.
In my local area I trade under the name of Cruden Craft but, on ebay, I am fingerpuppets33. I am located at Horizon, Longhaven, PETERHEAD which is in Aberdeenshire, Scotland (AB42 0NY) ~ Cruden Bay is a small village just down the road from me and that is where I took my business name from. I also sell some metallic yarn which is what I use myself when knitting some of my finger puppets ~ speckled frogs, knights, dragons etc ~ anything which needs a bit of a lift.
