We are a farming family in the middle of Derbyshire on the edge of the Peak District. Like most farmers we have had to diversify to make ends meet, hence WAKEBRIDGE MANOR HOLIDAYS, we have two lovely Holiday Cottages, which are barn conversions. We also have a Camping and Caravan Club Site and a Static Caravan for hire. This is Johns business which quite frankly I take 99% of the bookings whilst John continues farming. The other business is 'ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING' which is my little business in which I will sell anything, if I think something will sell I will buy it and try to sell it to make me a few extra coppers. Thats officially my business. Then of course there is the farm which is now primarily beef animals, (J.W.WALKER & FAMILY)with a few cats and the farm dog Jasper. This fits in well with the Holiday Makers because most love to see the calves and the cats being feed and John really loves to show off his animals. The guest are especially thrilled to bits if they see a calf born.
