Are you a VAT registered company?
Yes. We are a VAT registered and send a VAT invoice with every order as standard.
Are the items you sell Brand New and do they have warranty?
We sell a mixture of ex-rent and brand new products, all of which are packaged and boxed. We always endeavor to make absolutely clear the condition of our products with photos in our auctions. Warranty information is provided where necessary in auctions.
What to do after the auction?
After the auction has ended or if you selected the 'Buy It Now' option we will email you all the payment instructions and how to checkout and pay for your item.
To ensure a fast delivery, please ensure you enter the following information in all your communications with us:

I missed the auction do you still have the item in stock?
Yes. We will often have the item listed in our eBay store or in the main auction listings, click here to go to our eBay store.
What is your feedback policy?
Feedback is left once we have received feedback from yourself, which will be reciprocated within 48 hours. This is to ensure that you are happy with your purchase. We will leave neutral or negative feedback where necessary.
Examples of when neutral or negative feedback will be left:
-No payment received within 10 days of the end of auction or 'Buy It Now' date.
-General rudeness or abusive emails
-Attempting to defraud us (we will also report to eBay)
My item is is faulty?
If the product has developed a fault contact us so we can provide you with assistance or arrange an exchange (if covered by your warranty). In the even of an exchange, the sender is responsible for the cost of returning an item back to us.

We accept a variety of payment methods making the checkout process fast and simple.

Traditional Payment Methods
We accept Cheques, Postal Orders and Cash
Please make cheques payable to Forbes Direct and allow 4-10 days to clear.
Postal Orders are safer than sending cash and are available from the post office
If you choose to send cash, please use Special or Recorded delivery.
Please be sure to include your eBay ID, Auction number and Contact details with any payment method.
Can I pay using a credit or debit card over the phone?
We understand that not everyone is comfortable providing sensitive information over the internet. You can call us on 01737 647400 we will process your payment while you wait.
How do I pay by credit or debit card through Paypal?
If you already have a Paypal account go to www.paypal.co.uk, log into your account and send the payment to ebaysales@forbesdirect.co.uk.
If you don't have an account, go to your 'items won' tab in your eBay account and follow the screen instructions to make your payment through Paypal. Alternatively you can contact us to make your card payment over the phone.
How do I pay by credit or debit card through Nochex?
You can send payment up to 00 without having to sign up to a Nochex account. Click here to make a payment on Nochex or alternatively you can call us to make your card payment over the phone.
When will my item be delivered?
While every effort is made to despatch your item within 48 hours, please allow up to 5 working days for you to receive the item. Paypal and Nochex are instant payment methods and goods prepared for despatch immediately. Please allow 4-10 days for cheques to clear.
We will of course keep you informed via email with the progress of your order.
Will you combine multiple items to reduce delivery costs?
Yes, if more than one item is purchased within a 24 hour period, we would combine your items into a single package to save you delivery costs.
Please contact us as this may not be possible with larger items.
Can I come and collect the item?
Although we have an extremely fast despatch system, if you wish, you can collect from our Redhill warehouse in Surrey. An appointment must be arranged to organise a collection date. Call us on 01737 647400.
I didn't collect the item from the courier and they have returned it?
If the courier has been unable to deliver the item, they will leave a card with contact information so that you can re-arrange delivery or collect it from the depot. The courier company will only hold the item for a short time, after which it is returned to us.
In such a case the delivery amount paid to deliver the item, will have to be paid again.
