About ForestFibres
ForestFibres is the longest established UK – based specialist seller of fibres and equipment for spinning, felting and dyeing on eBay.
In our eBay shop, you will find a comprehensive range of natural fibres, yarns, dyes and other fibre-related craft products.
Our wide range of fibres for spinning and felting now includes Merino tops in over 50 solid colours, plus several multicolour blends. We also have undyed and dyed Merino and silk blends in a range of colours.
Added to our silks, plant fibres, and other animal fibres, we believe we now offer the largest range of natural fibres available on ebay UK.
This year we will be introducing new fibres and other products which we hope will be of interest to all our customers.
Main dealers for Ashford Crafts
We are proud to be associated with Ashford Crafts of New Zealand, and stock their full range of Merino dyed tops and Corriedale dyed sliver, plus the new Merino and Silk blends. These are ideal for handspinners and feltmakers. We offer these fibres as 100g packs, 200g mixed packs and in three craft kits for spindle spinning and needlefelting.
We have many of the Ashford products in stock, including the new Sliding Hook Flyers for Ashford Traditional. Traveller and Elizabeth Wheels.
We sell a further range of spinning accessories hand-made for us in Scotland. This range includes carders, drop spindles, niddy noddies and Nostepinne.

Rare Breed wools
ForestFibres has long been associated with the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, having kept our own small flock of Ryeland sheep for some years. Sadly, we no longer have the sheep, but actively promote the use of Rare Breed wool to craftspeople around the world. Boreray wool from our shop was spun into prize-winning yarn exhibited at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.
We are currently offering 17 different Rare Breed wools as either tops or washed fleece. (You can find out more about our washed fleeces by visiting the About our Wool Fleeces page in our eBay shop.)
Hand Knitters
You have not been forgotten – we are now stocking natural DK wool from Ashford Crafts, Artesano Alpaca and Manos del Uruguay wool and silk yarns. We have top quality bamboo needles from Clover and Opal, and Brittany birch wood needles available to compliment these beautiful natural yarns.
