 Being one of the longer serving fossil sellers on Ebay I thought it was about time I introduced myself to buyers from the past and all buyers still to come. Although fossils have been of interest to me for as long as I remember, it is only recently I have found they are readily available. I have my wife to thank for getting me started after a chance entry on a totally different Ebay search. After investigating, it became apparent that fossils were abundant on the internet and I soon realised I could be part of that. From the start I wanted to allow others to do what I failed to do years ago, buy inexpensive fossils. When you visit fossil sites you come to realise that finding the common specimens does not have to involve ‘chance’ or ‘hard work’, many can be easily picked up from exposed areas of weathering. But do you have the time to travel to all these locations, or are they still accessible? If you want to collect fossils it does not have to cost hundreds of pounds, my sales start at only 20p. All children, and many adults, are intrigued by dinosaurs and fossils but many do not know how easy and cheap it is to start.

This is where ‘I Dig Dinos' comes in, yes it is nice to have an expensive ‘display piece’ but my collection contains thousands of different ‘draw specimens’. This is where the collecting gets interesting with the cleaning and identifying of ‘common’ fossils. Fossil collecting should be made available to everyone with even the slightest interest as promoting ‘getting back to basics’ is never a bad idea.

As old customers will know my name is Terence Collingwood but you can address your emails to ‘Mr GUPPY-TTC’ if you really want to….. You do not need to know my life history but I can tell you I have two children who unfortunatley show no interest in the fossils (familiarity breeds contempt.....)

 I welcome any questions about my fossils as I never tire of talking about them, I will always try and help with any queries with a fossil or dinosaur connection. If you decide to make a purchase I want you to be happy with it. Any problems then please write, I do hate buyers who assume sellers are not willing to listen. I sell fossils as a hobby and to increase my knowledge and collection, I hope everyone I sell to shares the same outlook. I do not claim to be the best seller in the world, I do not claim to sell the best, most perfect fossils in the world. I sell ‘normal’ specimens to collectors all over the world and I have a very good reputation. I would, however, claim to have a professional approach, but a friendly and courteous demeanour which hopefully shows in the vast majority of my feedback – have a read for yourself.
