Welcome to our eBay page
We supply New and Graded gardening equipment direct from Manufacturers, Wholesale distributors and Importers. Our aim is to offer a superb range of graded products at prices lower than High Street or DIY store rrp's.
What does X-grade and Y-grade mean?
Graded products are clearly indicated X or Y in our eBay listings. If an item is Brand New un-used it will be clearly listed as such. Please read and check the listing carefully to ensure you understand which type of graded item (or New) you are about to purchase.
X-grade - these have less cosmetic marks and surface scratches than Y-grade items. The majority of X-grade units will show some sign of previous use, although they are cleaned under refurbishing procedures and fully tested prior to despatch. In a very few cases X-grade units may be returns that were failed or refused deliveries, overstocks or end of season returns from large sheds (B&Q, Homebase etc) retail stores (Argos, Littlewoods etc) but they may have a damaged box or they may be ex-display units, again showing cosmetic marks to body and wheels, but they still represent excellent value for money compared to buying from the High Street at rrp prices. Typically you will be saving at least 30% off the rrp, sometimes even more.
Y-grade (used and then manufacturer grading centre repaired) - Here are some reasons why an item may be classed as Y-grade: there will be cosmetic marks, blemishes and grass stains on the item, its grassbox or one of the parts. It is a shop customer return, or a manufacturers 'recall' return that has been used but inspected, repaired and tested by the manufacturer and re-tested by ourselves prior to despatch. In some cases, the return may have been used for display or demonstration purposes. Y-grade units will show more scuff/wear and tear marks than an X-grade version. Y-grade still represents excellent value for money compared to buying brand new or X-grade as they offer even larger savings and still come with a 12 months return to base warranty.
We only sell items in working order and fit for their purpose. Cutting blades may not be brand new but they will be considered 'serviceable' and able to provide at least one seasons cutting before re-sharpening is required. All motorised garden tools should be serviced and blades re-sharpened at least once per year in accordance with manufacturers instructions. We do not sell, 'Scrap', 'Spares or Repair', 'Faulty' or 'Non-functioning' items. None of the products we sell have come from a second hand shop, car boot sale or flea market these are not faulty goods we are not trying to palm goods off as 'Unwanted gift' or 'No longer required'. Our business only sells quality powered garden equipment direct from the manufacturers grading process 12 months of the year - we do not sell Childrens Toys, Wooden Blocks, change our stock to suit the season, change our ebay user ID or have numerous ebay accounts (as we know some sellers do) for when they upset a few too many customers. We sell, support and offer a superb range of always-in-stock units at excellent prices. Everything we sell on ebay is assembled and fully tested again within 24 hrs prior to despatch so we are confident all is well when goods are despatched. The only point we would make about graded items is; due to the fact they will show signs of previous use and/or have cosmetic marks we would not recommend Y-grade items as presents or gifts, X-grade are fine and Y-grade may be purchased for such use at the buyers discretion based on the information supplied on this and our other ebay pages.

IMPORTANT NOTES AND WARNING below
Warranty
Items are sold with a 12 months return to base warranty. The RTB warranty covers parts (only) that fail due to a manufacturing fault or defect - Labour charges apply to items after 90 days of receipt. The cost for returning items under warranty is at the buyers expense, this includes the cost for re-delivering the item once exchanged or repaired. Some manufacturers guarantee/warranty
covers the cost of an Engineer attending the buyers address to inspect the item and write an Engineers Fault Report.
If a listed item is covered by a manufacturers guarantee/warranty, this will be
stated in the listing.
However, with the above said, we test everything prior to despatch and we have no reason to send out anything that does not work.
Our "Positive Feedback" score says it all. We actually sell a lot more goods
via other sales channels than through eBay itself, and we have many repeat customers who come back time and again. Please note: All our Gardening Equipment is designed and manufactured for domestic use only. We therefore do not give or offer any warranty for purchases where the equipment is subsequently used, or we have reason to believe may have been used, for any type of commercial work or activity.
IMPORTANT NOTES AND WARNING:
1. FRAGILE ITEMS - The Insurance Terms & Conditions of the Delivery Agent state that glass, china, ceramics, wax products and fragile items are not covered by Transit Liability Insurance for damage or breakage caused during Transit. These items are sent at buyers own risk. However the same items are covered in the event of LOSS or PILFERAGE.
2. GOODS ALLEGEDLY DAMAGED/PILFERED DURING TRANSIT - The Delivery Agent will NOT accept insurance claims for goods allegedly Damaged in Transit where the recipient has given a 'CLEAN' signature on the driver's delivery sheet at the time of delivery. Once you sign the Delivery Sheet, you are accepting ownership of the goods, responsibility and care of the goods becomes yours.
PLEASE CHECK THE PACKAGING FOR SIGNS OF DAMAGE BEFORE SIGNING - We can not stress or emphasize this enough. The Driver should not have to wait long whilst you do this. If you are not happy with the condition of the delivery because the box is seriously damaged simply REFUSE to accept delivery. You MUST write on the driver's delivery sheet what the problem is,
ie:- damaged goods, packaging dented/split, packaging looks tampered with, suspicious marks, or basically anything but DO NOT sign for the goods if you are not happy. In our experience, notification of damage of ANY sort after a
recipient signs for Goods Received In Good Condition results in the Delivery Agent refuting Liability. You will then be left with these goods as liability for damage can not be proven against the Delivery Agent.
CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE PACKAGING BEFORE SIGNING - YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED!
