Welcome ~
I am a stay-at-home mom with just too much stuff! I used to work so I have lots of work clothes and shoes that are in great condition and just need a new home. I also have been every size from a size 2 to a size 16, and now am happily somewhere in the middle. : ) As a family, we are also trying to get out of paying $90/mo for our air-cooled storage unit so we are trying to downsize on our extra Christmas items and other miscellaneous goodies. All items have been purchased for use by my family - this is not my business, so in most cases I will not have the same style in an alternate color or size as a regular "store" might.
Please feel free to ask any questions about any of my items. I pride myself on selling good quality items ~ things I would like to receive as a buyer. Unless otherwise noted, my items will NOT have major fading or major pilling (the little balls of material that appear on the fabric after many uses and washes). When I price my items, I try to take into account the amount that you pay for shipping. I hate how high shipping prices have gotten and I try to offer the cheapest rates possible without any markup for shipping within the US. Normally if it says "Parcel Post," and you pay promptly, I will pay the extra to ship the item to you via Priority Mail (unless it is a heavier weight item).
Measurements: I try to always list the measurements of the items because I know that manufacturers are not very consistent with their sizing from year to year...a size "L" one year is not necessarily equivalent to the same size the next year, especially in the lengths of shirts and the inseams of pants. This drives me crazy as a buyer! The best thing to do is to get a similar style of shirt or pair of pants that you like the fit of, and take the measurements and compare them to the ones in the listings.
Why did I open a store?: I have a hard time keeping up with the seasons and hate to keep reli$ting items that are out-of-season. I will usually move seasonal items to "auctions" and keep out-of-season items in my store. Please note that the price will usually go up on items that are "in season" or when they move from an "auction-style" listing to a "store" listing.
Shipping Fees: I charge actual shipping, I type in the weight of the package, and the system charges whatever the USPS charges to ship to your zone. I live on the East Coast, therefore the farther away you live, the higher shipping costs will be. This usually is only outrageously (to me) high on items that weigh over 2 lbs. Seller's DSR ratings are not a place to voice opinions about how high the shipping rates are - they are to see if sellers are charging a fair shipping price. Some sellers add things, like packaging, gas, tape, etc.,...I do not. I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases when possible ~ please, just let me know if you are not yet done shopping when the first item ends.
Please make sure you ask questions early. My auctions typically end on Sunday evenings and for several months in both the fall and spring we become the typical "soccer parents" - our weekends are spent either driving to a soccer game, watching soccer games, or driving home from a soccer game - which, in most cases, can take up the whole day!
A big THANK YOU to my fast paying buyers!!!: 97% of my buyers pay within the 1st 24 hours - of the remaining 3%, 2% pay within 3-5 days and the remaining 1% usually becomes the dreaded..."Non-Paying Bidder." I have to file a NPB claim in order to recoup both the listing fee and final value fee that I have to pay Ebay after an item sells.
Thank you for visiting my About Me page ~ Happy Ebaying!

One more tip on searches: Did you know your search can be more successful (and less frustrating!) if you use parentheses and minus signs "-" like math parameters?? Here is an example ~
I want to do a search for a Jansport backpack, NEW, but not pink or purple and it can not have hearts on it but I am specifically looking for a backpack with either horses, flowers, or a skater type style. So I type in the "search" bar:
Jansport (new, nwot, nwt) (horses, flowers, skater) -pink -purple -hearts
The parentheses ( ) will pick up all Jansport items listed as NEW, NWOT, and NWT and also everything listed with "horses, flowers," and the word "skater" in the title. The "-" minus signs will eliminate all auctions with the words "pink" or "purple" or "hearts." This will help you find auction items easier especially when you are looking for only certain brands or avoiding certain colors or styles, it doesn't filter out all of them, but helps to slim down your search using the auction title.
I usually add more "-"'s in after I do an initial search and then wind up with too many choices and then I'll edit my search and tack on the end ..... "-Montana -tank" (no space between the "-" and the word) if, for example, a search for a new shirt for my daughter ended up with a ton of Hannah Montana shirts and a ton of tank tops.
