The Centre in Mayfield Road, Huntingdon
|
We are a registered charity based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (registered charity no. 800849) established in 1983. We are run by a group of trustees, some of whom suffer from Multiple Sclerosis themselves. In 2002 after years of fundraising we moved to a purpose designed building to enable more therapies to be offered.
Although primarily an MS Centre, we are also open to people suffering from other neurological health problems, such as Parkinsons Disease and Fibromyalgia. Members come from all over Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Lincolnshire to receive treatments, some of which are not available on the NHS.
It currently costs around £100,000 per year to run the centre, we receive no Government funding, all of our income is raised from members' donations and by fundraising in the community.
