Garden Cottage


I live in the Scottish Highlands and work part-time as a classroom assistant. I like to spend my spare time sewing, gardening and looking after my wee grandson Finlay. I have a background in design and spent many years as a textile designer, mainly in carpet design. I have been sewing for as long as I can remember and enjoy nothing more than to be in my studio workroom working on new projects. I came to the Highlands over 30 years ago with my husband who works in Nature Conservation, we have a very happy life here. I take a great deal of pride in my work and pay meticulous attention to detail ~ from the design stage to sewing on my 'garden cottage' labels. I hope you like my designs.
