A Victorian Era~ Nostalgic Glimpse of a Bygone Era, I would like to take you back to the pastimes, delights and foibles of victorian society. For every week of the year there are delightful reminders of some aspects of victorian life, such as social etiquette, vacations by the sea, travels abroad, and the traditional festive holidays. This page is a full calendar year, it will take me some time to complete. Come with me and step back in time. All of the jewellery that I list is vintage, it has age and history and there will be signs of some wear. This is the nature - and the joy - of vintage & antique pieces. Please consider this when bidding on a item which is listed as vintage, condition & damage will always be pointed out. If your preference is for brand new items in pristine condition then my little jems will probably not be for you. I try to list all items accurately and to the best of my knowledge. I am not an expert on many of the items I sell, I am just a collector of beautiful things. I DO NOT clean any of my pieces of jewellery. Please read my descriptions carefully before bidding. Please take a look at my previous feedback and bid with confidence. My battle with a spinal tumour has opened my eyes to life ... Do it no matter what. I list on the UK and US site. I combine postage on multi wins up to 10 items per parcel. Please remember some items such as brass items and bead necklaces can be quite heavy and jewelley can be so delicate, so I always pack well. I use recycled packaging when possible, bubble wrap, card and padded envelopes.Postage charges include packing and handling. All my auction pages, plus my 'me page' are designed and created by me using paint shop pro 8. I love web creation and playing with graphics; I now use my psp for digi scrapping as well on my blog janslittlejems.
