Behold! THE dress that Kate Moss wore to Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince's Trust on Thursday 18th October 2007. Created by Kate Moss and Topshop, the design is based on a 1920s original flapper's dress from Kate's personal collection.
Dripping with 60,000 Swarovski crystal beads of silver, dove grey and antique green, it is covered with looping tassels that shimmer as the dress moves. Typically Kate, this dress achieves knock-out glamour without the ostentatious fuss seen too often on the red carpet.
Designed by Kate and the Topshop design team, it was hand-beaded by Hand and Lock – couture embroiderers who have used a specialised and rare kind of beading technique called tamber to create this stunning fluidity.
All the proceeds of this auction will go directly to The Prince's Trust.

When I was invited by Swarovski to create a dress with Topshop to wear to Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince’s Trust, this 1920's flapper style immediately came to mind. It has been a major inspiration for my autumn winter designs for Topshop and just felt perfect. I'm honoured to have the opportunity to raise cash for The Prince's Trust, as it's great cause. Plus, I get to wear my own amazing couture dress' – even if it's just for the night!
- The grey-green dress fits a size 6–8
- It is covered with over 60,000 Swarovski crystals in dove grey, antique green and pale silver.
- The neckline and straps, around the front and back of the dress, are covered with heavier, assorted shaped crystal beads in droplet and dome shapes.
- The dress is covered in long strands of beads that swing from the fabric like tassels, creating a cobweb-like effect over the shift of pale green tulle. The hemline is fringed with more strands carrying thousands of tiny crystals.
- It falls to mid-thigh and has two inverted pleats in the front and at the back of the dress.
- It was beaded by London-based couture embroiderers Hand and Lock.

Youth charity The Prince's Trust helps change young lives. It gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation. It works with 14 to 30 years-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law.
