NORTHCOTE HEAVY HORSES

Here in Lincolnshire in the East of England we are a small group of volunteers who run a sanctuary for horses with particular problems.

Some of the horses are BIG. "Cricket Cracker" our chief horse is the second tallest horse in the World at 19.2 hands high.

Half the 14 or so horses and ponies are heavy breeds, the others are more normal and include four shetland ponies.

We have an on line shop which we have difficulty keeping up to date. I for instance drive HGV's for a living!

A large part of our income comes from our Mail order catalogue which is up dated every October.

The majority of our funding is from donations and adoptions of the horses and ponies.

Our "FRIENDS"  are folk who donate a small amount each month. Several of them also

come and help with jobs around the centre whenever they can.

We are always in need of  motor vehicle mechanics to repair our ancient and frequently

poorly tractors!
