My name is Richard I used to give my surname here but scammers use it to pretend they are emailing me from from ebay HQ. I was 53 in October. I live in Nottinghamshire. I run a Sound Equipment Hire Company my phone no. is listed in the phone book, (01623 452964) no ex-directory here, I don't mind speaking to pretty much most e-bayers. Buyers can also call and collect from here, by prior arrangement to make sure I am in.
How I work.
When you pay, I print a label and then post the item, sometimes the same day, sometimes the next day. I generally get to the small local Post Office at about 4 pm. I prefer to use DHL for valuable or heavy items, booked via Interparcel on the net.My record with Parcelforce is three or four lost packets and one that took 5 weeks. The lost packets I was able to duplicate, at my own expense. The Parcelforce ordinary tracking number is useless and does not work since Royal Mail bought Parcelforce. Parcelforce takes 2 or 3 days but can be much, much longer. I have never yet made a claim against them for damaged or lost mail. I try to acknowledge all payments and indicate when the item will be posted. If you have a problem, tell me. Try to be intelligent and reasonable. I am honest and honourable, but e-bay attracts some very odd bods who can't reason or think. These are the people who can't ever be satisfied, and have over high expectations. I have never ever sold anything knowingly broken damaged or un-working, but sometimes things do get damaged or I am unable to test them because they need something I have not got to do so. This has only ever happened twice, both some time ago, and both being Tascam tape machines. In such circumstances, I will always refund the purchase price (this is the amount you bid it doesn't always include the carriage paid unless you are reasonable and polite) if the item is returned, but do not shout and rave if you want something, just be polite and ask nicely. It makes me wonder sometimes how some people buying on e-bay manage to eat their dinner without putting their fork through their cheek! Lots and lots of the buyers and sellers I have got to know are lovely people. Some are arrogant unrealistic numptys who should have been smothered at birth.
Try this question from a member: 'You say you will deliver the item within 30 miles for fuel money. 30 miles from where?'
How do you reply to that?????
'Have you sent my item yet?' reply: 'no, you have not sent payment yet'.

Question: hi i was wondering what sort of a output connection this has, if it would go straight in to an amp just using a guitar lead or if you would require a mixing desk?

My reply: In the item description I have said "The shure style mic clip is included, but the mic in the picture is just for illustration and I will not be sending it to the winner....does this help?" If you have read thus far, you might like to know that one neg feedback I had was from a seller from whom I bought a phone cover set for my Nokia. He ignored all my emails, never sent it and I got a refund from Paypal. I left him a neg so he left me one. What a tosser he was! The other called me the worst payer on ebay as I paid for a £3 ink cartridge 6 days after I won because I was working away. I had already left him good feedback, what a tosser he was too!!
