For as long as I can remember I have been a plus size. The last picture of me looking slim was when I was aged ten, taken after a tap dance recital with my younger sister.

For years I was unhappy about my size, always on a diet but never losing weight. It didn't help that my sister who is 3 years younger always managed to maintain a perfect size 10.

In those days the only shops that catered for anyone over a 14 was Evans and they most certainly did not cater for a teenager addicted to anything to do with fashion. So while my sister and friends wore short skirts, cropped tops and tight jeans I wore baggy t-shirts and baggier shorts.

For special occasions I would wear dresses well beyond my years (there are pictures of me at 15 in a red polka-dot shift dress taken one Christmas, not pretty).

That year I decided that I was going to wear what I liked and if I couldn't buy it I make it. Satin mini skirts, gingham dresses and fitted tops soon followed. I bought dowdy clothes, took scissors to them and made my own creations.

My confidence grew (along with my waistline) and I started to understand that being a plus size didn't mean that I couldn't be sexy, sophisticated and stylish.

Fast forward and here we are now, an eBay seller wanting to take what I know and love about being a plus size and pass it on to all women with an understanding that no one should ever be ashamed of who they are based on what they look like.

Confidence is a belief in yourself and KNOWING that you look good!

My aim is to bring sexy and trendy plus size clothing to people who love fashion. The high street may not understand us and while they have moved forward the market still haven't grasped that plus size women are fabulous, have money and want to look good.

I source clothing from all over the world and my criteria are strict. When I put on an outfit or dress I want to feel stunning and that's what I look for in clothing, something that will give you confidence, look fantastic and oozes sex appeal.

I specialise in dresses as there is nothing more feminine or sexy. Being a plus size means I understand what a plus size woman wants. I understand what flatters a plus size figure, what needs to be hidden and what can be played up to make you look spectacular.

My aim is to make you feel like a superstar, even if it's just for one night. I encourage communication with my customers and love feedback on the items that I sell.

I've made some great friends since I joined eBay and have found dresses for weddings, proms, school reunions and special evenings.
