Although I am an accountant by profession I have been building model boats since the 1950's.

While I have built radio control models my primary interest is in static display models. I enjoy the challenge of incorporating as much fine detail as possible which, of course, is not practical with working models.

I prefer to build traditionally in wood as I feel the authentic materials give more credibility to the models.
