BUYING STUFF?
Payment
Contact & or payment are expected within 7 days of auction close. Payments must be in £GBP (pounds sterling) & I prefer PayPal – it’s easy for both of us & it means I can send your item out to you a lot sooner. However I do accept cheques & postal orders from UK buyers as an alternative & I may even accept gift vouchers depending on what shop they are for =)
If you live outside of the UK you MUST pay by PayPal.
Non-payment
If you win an auction & don’t pay within 14 days, regardless of whether you’re having a lobotomy or your sister’s boyfriend’s uncle is pregnant; you WILL get a non-payment strike on your account & you WILL receive negative feedback.
Delivery
I gift-wrap most items & send them out by 1st class post whether you live in the UK or aboard. For this reason my shipping fees cover more than just the price of a stamp. If you have any special requirements please contact me & I will do my best to accommodate your needs ^.^
Feedback
I will leave you feedback as soon as I know that you have received your item & you are happy with it – please leave me feedback so I can return the favour to you.

Problems
I obtain a certificate of posting for every item I sell which insures most items (at the post office’s discretion) up to the value of £36. The Post Office DO NOT insure jewellery however, so if you are worried about your jewels going AWOL please request special delivery which will insure your necklace/brooch etc. If you don’t receive your item or there is a problem with it upon arrival please do not hesitate to CONTACT ME so I can resolve things for you. Please bear in mind that if the Royal Mail decide to play frisbee with your parcel this is beyond my control; I do mummify breakables in bubble wrap to keep them safe however. If something goes wrong in transit I will be happy to file an insurance claim on your behalf. Understandably these things don’t get resolved overnight but I have NEVER had a buyer go without an item (or a refund if the item is a one-off), nor have I ever had a dispute claim filed against me.) If you’re patient & polite when things go wrong, I will help you to the best of my ability.

SELLING STUFF?
Payment
If you accept PayPal 99% of the time I pay as soon as I win the item.
Cheques are sent out ASAP by first class post.
Delivery
If I don’t receive anything from you after a couple of weeks, I will contact you in an attempt to resolve the matter. I will behave like an adult & I expect you to do the same. If you do not respond I will mention this in the feedback I leave for you; I would expect anyone else to do the same to me.
Feedback
I tend to leave seller feedback as soon as I receive my purchase. Again, if I have a problem with the item, I will contact you & explain my concerns like an adult. I am honest about my buying (& selling) experiences & I am not scared of retaliatory feedback. Granted, I’ll think you’re pathetic for doing so, but I feel it is more important to make other ebayers aware of negative experiences, than to live in fear of receiving a retaliatory feedback from a disgruntled seller (or buyer!).
