I am "Feather 'n' Fur Pet Supplies", a small petfood shop in Barrow-upon-Soar, Leicestershire.

We have been established in for over 12 years, although not always as a petfood store. My partner (Ann) and I originally bought the empty shop and set up as a corner store selling general grocery items, moving on to be a newsagency and off licence a few years later, but found ourselves working 17 hours a day. By chance a customer asked us for a dogfeed that at the time we had not heard of. We managed to get hold of some and sold out quickly of all the stock we took on board.

One thing led to another and pretty quickly we became the village petfood store, since then we have added one or two other irons to our fire. We are the co-owners of Tracklay Sales (a model railway ballasting system), we have an internet presence in the form of www.shireshop.co.uk, and when I can find the time I enjoy amking jewellery and incorporating precious and non precious stones that I have cut and polished myself.

Of course being a real world shop you are more than welcome to visit during opening hours.
