Right, where do i begin with out making this sound like a lonely hearts ad?? My name is Ian, i currently run my own video games shop, called Games Exchange, in a small village on the Wirral called West Kirby.
I have been interested in gaming since the days of Ghouls and Ghosts on the arcade machine at my local leisure centre. Before long my interest became more of an obsession when i got my first console, a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) for Christmas one year. Well that was it, i was hooked!! Since then i have owned pretty much every console to be released. I would have to say my favorites were the Sega Dreamcast and, more recently, the Xbox360.
As the years rolled on, i got more and more obsessed with games and consoles. I then had a chance to get my dream job, working in a nationwide games store (which shall remain nameless). I was there for nearly 3 years until it all went a bit sour. In that time however i managed to work my way to Assistant Manager and i got a really good insight into how to run a shop. Thats when i decided to take the plunge and set myself up in business.
So there you go, in the space of 20 years, my interest has become my living. Doesnt get much better than that really!! :)
