I started on Ebay in January 2002 , and have greatly enjoyed both buying and selling with Ebay and its huge community.
It is a great place to learn about , and communicate with others of a like mind
I am an individual and not a business.
I have been a collector all my adult life.
I have a good knowledge of Silver, Silver Plate, & Old Sheffield Plate
I have been a collector of British and Chinese Armorial Porcelain, Coins, Stamps Antiquarian Books, British & Irish Cut Glass, wooden boxes etc. etc. etc.
Periodically I run out of space in my small house, and have to thin out my collections, to make way for new interests.
At present my main obsessive compulsions are Small Pieces of Old Sheffield Plate particularly Salt Cellars or small items with Crests / Armorial engravings & also Close Plate Flatware Especially in Kings Type patterns,
If anyone has any items they think I would be interested in, I would be delighted to hear from them.

All listings are made in good faith.
All items are listed with details that are accurate to the best of my ability.

If you have a question about an item, please ask BEFORE you bid !
Payment.
Payment is to be made as soon as possible after auction is finished.
However,
I would appreciate that if payment is to be delayed, that contact be made as soon as possible.
Feedback.
Feedback, positive feedback will always be given for successful and straightforward transactions.
Feedback will usually be posted within a month of transaction.
Non-payment will always attract negative feedback, and will also result in a report to EBay’s non-paying bidder program.
Returns and Refunds.
Please do not send back any item unless by prior arrangement .
I am not obliged to receive returns or to give refunds.
All items are bought as seen.
However if there is a material error in my description - then I will be prepared to enter into correspondence in order to find a mutually satisfactory resolution.
POSTAGE.
Inland
United Kingdom.
I will price the cost of postage for each item by Royal Mail.
Overseas.
I will price the cost of postage for each item by Royal Mail.
Packing
A Nominal handling charge of between £1 & £1.50 is levied on each item sold.
So even on multiple purchases, even if it has been agreed to combine postage, this charge will still apply.
Packing Materials
For the sake of the environment, and costs I Endeavour to use as much recycled packaging as possible. Items are always packed to a high standard.
Insurance.
Insurance is the buyer’s responsibility at all times.
I am not liable for any loss once placed in the postal system
I keep proofs / certificates for all items posted,
And if items are issued with tracking numbers the number will be forwarded by e-mail if requested.
Due to a few unfortunate losses over the years in the UK and Overseas it is now necessary for ALL purchases over a bid value of £36 to be sent by a registered or tracked insured postal service.
