The Peace Hospice
|
The Peace Hospice has provided care for terminally ill patients from South West Hertfordshire for over 12 years. Over 80% of the .7 million required to run the Hospice this year has to be raised by charitable donations and legacies. |
|
Last year we cared for 204 people in our inpatient unit. Our palliative care team of doctors nurses, social workers and physiotherapists work together to support patients and their families. Our day care is open four days a week both for inpatients and people in the community. Our fully qualified therapists offer a full range of complementary therapies to inpatients, day care and out patients. Our bereavement service reaches to over 700 people a year from South West Hertfordshire. |
