FROM THE STUDIO OF PETER WHITE
AT WORK IN MY STUDIO

Hi. Thankyou for visiting my "About Me" page. My name is Peter White and I have been a fulltime artist for over 20 years specialising in watercolours and acrylics. During that time I have sold well over 3000 paintings. I have become well known for my paintings of Sydney Harbour and "figures in the landscape". I was brought up with art around me. My grandfather Herbert Gallop, whose great uncle was James McNeil Whistler, was the well known artist and teacher in Sydney in the 1930's. The walls of our house were adorned with watercolours, etchings and oil paintings. My grandfather always said that drawing was the key to good painting and it is something that I have kept in mind throughout my career.

In October 1990 after a long illness I became the first Australian to have a combined Heart/ Kidney Transplant at St. Vincents Hospital in Sydney. The operation was a great success thanks to the wonderful skill and dedication of the medical staff. I have since remarried and have two wonderful daughters. I have now been a member to the E BAY Community for over two years and as my feedback indicates I have endeavoured to provide a very high level of customer service. Please add me to your favourites list as I will continue to sell a variety of items at extremely competitive prices.
