UK QUAD POSTERS

UK Quad posters are landscape in style and are produced in the UK for cinema movie advertising. These were never available in shops which makes them highly sought after by collectors from the UK and increasingly more so from people in the USA and other parts of the world. They are quite large in size measuring 30 inches by 40 inches and absolutly ideal for putting up on the wall for bedrooms and around the house. Serious collectors like myself prefer to have them framed and if i say so myself do look amazing. At the moment i have a King Kong quad framed and am hoping to get a couple more frames to put around my room. In the early part of the 1990's and before that, they were manufactured folded and sent to UK cinema's by the distibuter's, only in the last 12 years or so were they sent rolled in tubes. Personally i prefer them rolled but i do like some of the folded ones as it adds a bit of age and nostalgia to it. I have found by collecting quad posters some of them have increased in value and are also continuing to add in value for example the quad poster for Pulp Fiction have been seen to go for around 0 - 00 and a Serenity quad has gone for 0-50. Not all will be worth lots of money but some do surprise and exceed the market value. For me i enjoy collecting them and reselling to other collectors as its a fun and addictive hobby which could also be an investment

UK MINI QUAD POSTERS

UK Mini Quad posters are landscape in style just like the larger quads and measure 12 inches by 16 inches. These are also not available in any shops and are becoming increasingly collectable by people in the UK, USA and other parts of the world. These are only available in UK cinema's and are handed out during the opening night of premiere's. What makes them special is that they are the same image as the larger quad's but easily framable. When handed out lots do get destroyed by kids and people not really fussed in keeping them so having a mint one could be hard to come by unless that person kept it in good condition. New titles are pretty common to get hold on Ebay but older titles are becoming harder to come by as either people didn't keep them or collectors have got them safe in their collection. You can pick them up for around -10 which makes them pretty affordable to collect. They haven't been around for very long and were introduced to UK cinema's in the quad format around the early 1990's. I am convinced that these gems could be very collectable and even could be an investment in the future so have also started collecting them just like its elder statesman, the QUAD. A re-release for the Italian Job does go for around 5 - 5 and i am sure others will follow suite in the future just given time.
