Postage policy. We always try to despatch orders the day of
they are ordered. Orders before 3.00 will
almost certainly be sent that same day, orders
after will still probably go up to 5.30 out that
day if not the next. We use the excellent Royal
Mail PARCEL FORCE SERVICE on a next day delivery
basis.
Customers in the Scottish Highlands, Channel
Islands, Scilly Islands,
Northern Ireland etc we use Royal
Mail standard parcels and a delivery day can not
be guaranteed.
If nobody is in parcel force will leave a
card and try to deliver next day. If you are
not available next day, please call the number
and arrange to collect from their depot (free)
or your local post office (75p charge).
In the past we have had expensive problems
with customers not attempting to contact the
courier after failed deliveries. To avoid this
we are more than happy to deliver to alternative
locations such as work or a friends address,
please advise us of your request when paying for
your item. A contact telephone number also
helps improve delivery reliability.
Please note, if the customer does not take
delivery or collect the item within a sensible
time (see delivery schedule
below) the courier return the item to
us. You will then be required to pay for
re-delivery. We can
redirect items after they have been dispatched,
BUT we get charged by the courier and will have
to pass these costs on to the customer.
UK mainland delivery
If the customer is not available
they will leave a card with a telephone
number. Please call this number to
arrange an alternative delivery day, or
collection of the item from their depot
within 7 days.
