CCWallasey is a company based in the north-west of England and has been established for almost 10 years. We are franchisees of Cash Converters, the largest second hand retailers in the world.

We currently own a number of stores in, and around the Merseyside area. This gives us access to a wide variety of new and second hand goods.

The Items We Auction

Not all the goods we sell are second hand! As established traders we have long term links with manufactures, who supply us with quality graded stock items.

GRADED EXPLAINED: These items may be ex-display, faulty returns, failed deliveries or simply unwanted purchases returned within days of purchase. All items are checked by the manufacturer, or their agents prior to shipping to us. All of these items are then re-checked by us to ensure everything is how it should be. Most appear entirely as new, although some have very slight cosmetic marks and/or show signs of light use. Many of these items have gone through stricter testing than most new items and hence more reliable.

Please read this document carefully and only bid if you are prepared to be bound by its conditions.

 Bidding guidelines

• Please do not bid if you do not accept these conditions.  If you bid on our items, it will be accepted that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

   Bidding guidelines

  • Only bid if you intend to buy.
  • Successful international bidders must contact us for confirmation of postage costs before sending any money. Postage stated on the auction is only a guide and on occasion will vary due to location specific requirements that are out of our control. If postage does change we will only charge the amount required. If you have any concerns about this then please contact us.
  • We will send an invoice to you after the auction has finished. This is an automated process so if you don receive any contact from us then please turn off spam filters and/or contact your ISP.
  • We answer all questions received during normal UK office hours (9.30 am 5.00 pm Monday-Friday). Again if you do not receive a reply then please check spam filters and/or contact your ISP.

  Accepted Payments

  • We accept Paypal, Cheques (despatch of goods once cheque has cleared), Money Orders (domestic and international) and cash sent at buyers own risk.
  • When using Paypal we reserve the right to only post to a confirmed address. If this problem arises then we will contact you to advise as such.
  • All payments must be made in UK sterling.
  • Any payments received that do not conform to these conditions will be returned immediately.

  Shipping Guidelines

  • When your item has been shipped you will receive an email.
  • All items are shipped within a reasonable time frame. We try to get everything shipped same day if possible Monday-Thursday. Our couriers do not operate over the weekend. We are not responsible if an item takes longer than expected since this is largely out of our control, but we will do everything we can to help.
  • Every item we send via Business Post, and the majority of international items, are traceable. We obtain proof for each traceable item. So if your item has not arrived then please let us know.
  • Once you receive the item shipped notification allow up to 14 days for Royal Mail and up to 2 days for courier post before contacting us.
  • If an item arrives in visibly damaged condition then please do not sign for the item. This ensures that you are covered for insurance purposes.
  • Please note that we do not post to PO boxes

  Returns Policy Faulty Goods

  • If your item arrives in a non working state then please let us know immediately. We will arrange for return delivery of the item.
  • In order to do this when you email please state your eBay ID name, item number, the fault and when would be ok to pick up the item. We can send a courier either morning or afternoon Monday-Friday for pickup.
  • If we have stock to replace the item then we will do so or offer full refund.
  • The returns policy for faulty goods is valid for 30 days from confirmation of delivery up to midnight on the 30^th day.
  • If your product develops a fault outside the warranty period we will endeavor to help wherever possible.
  • All warranties offered are non transferable and do not apply to any 3rd party.

  Returns Policy 7 Day No Questions Asked guarantee

  • As part of our drive to improve customer satisfaction we now offer the same policies as many major retail stores in that if you are not happy with your purchase then you have 7 days to return it, for a refund.
  • The 7 day period begins once delivery is confirmed through our tracking facility up to midnight on the seventh day.
  • We regret that in this instance all our costs incurred such as postage and listing fees are non refundable. Unless the item is being returned due to a fault.
  • The 7 day guarantee does not apply to games and other media.
  • If you wish to return an item please use the contact seller link and state your eBay user id, item number, fault if applicable and time slot available for retrieval of the item by courier.
  • Refund of the item will be then reviewed pending confirmation of correct serial and product numbers , items can only be returned if they are in the same condition as when purchased.
  • We therefore reserve the right to cancel this offer if dishonest conduct is suspected.
  • The customer is responsible for the return of the item in good condition and any costs relating to return delivery.
  • All warranties offered are non transferable and do not apply to any 3rd party.

   

  Non-paying bidders

  • If you are unable to pay then please do not bid
  • If your circumstances change after you win an item and you are unable to pay then please contact us immediately.
  • We will follow non-paying-bidder procedures for all non-paid auctions.

  General Guidelines 

  • We do not provide a wapservice and emails related to this will be ignored.
  • We avoid ending auctions early so please do not ask us to do so.
  • If you have any problem or query during the auction then please email us and we will try to help.
  • Some of our items have their own guidelines, such as jewellery and will be clearly marked on the auction
  • We reserve the right to retract or modify our terms and conditions at any time.
  • Most of all please enjoy yourself. eBay is meant to fun as well as a serious retail tool.
