The Auction
Profile are holding this auction in a final push to exceed our fundraising
target of £5,000 for the corporate adoption of our Dolphin, Bonnie.
Take a look at our special
adoption website for more information on Bonnie and
her new calf.
We have been proud supporters of WDCS some years and so far, the
WDCS fundraising activities undertaken by our team have included
a skydive, white water rafting, and a Wacky Whale Race. To-date,
we have also donated IT software to WDCS to the value of £30,000.
The WDCS Corporate Adoption scheme enables companies to adopt and
name one of the bottlenose dolphins that reside in the Moray Firth.
These unique animals, the last living in the North Sea, are part
of a vulnerable resident population of approximately 130 dolphins
that are threatened by expanding industrial development and oil
and gas exploration and production in the area. Unless they are
protected, the dolphins will not survive and adopting one of these
animals helps to save them. For more information on the Corporate
Dolphin Adoption please visit wdcs.org

The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society
WDCS, the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, is the global voice for the protection of cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) and their environment. Established in 1987, WDCS is the only global organization dedicated solely to the protection and conservation of whales and dolphins and their habitats, with the most reliable research, a powerful and strongly motivated supporter-base and the integrity and vision to secure a positive future for these incredible animals.
WDCS has offices in the UK, US, Germany, Australia and Argentina and is active in over 25 countries. WDCS campaigns for global protection for whales and dolphins. We fund and manage field projects, research, conservation and educational initiatives aimed at reducing and ultimately eliminating the threats to these animals, and raising awareness of the need to protect them in their natural environment.
