Established in 1989, Progressive Audio has now been supplying the finest quality hi-fi components and systems to the public for over 16 years. Dave Harvey the man behind the Progressive Audio name became an audiophile whilst still at school and has been totally hooked on hi-fi ever since. Dave is always on hand to give his expert impartial advice on any area of Hi-fi and his extensive knowledge of products and his genuine passion for music is renowned.

  Progressive Audio aim to provide customers with a friendly and pleasant environment to audition equipment that is of the finest sound and build quality. With this in mind we have an enviable range of names to choose from, plus a superb purpose built demonstration facility with free parking right outside. Our premises are not the usual High street location, but a quiet road on a quiet private estate; in fact it’s Dave’s home! So tea coffee and friendly seating are always on hand.

 Because the items we sell vary enormously in size and weight costs of postage or carriage cannot be listed here. If not included in an item description the exact cost of transportation will be notified to the customer who will be resonsible therefore. All items are insured against loss or damage.

 We are happy to arrange a full demonstration of any of the products we sell at our premises in Rainham Kent, you need only call to arrange an appointment. Evening or Sunday appointments can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
Demonstrations at your own home can also be arranged, and of course we provide a mail order service to virtually any corner of the globe, except of course to those far off unheard of countries with customers who want to pay via Western Union!
Equipment repair and servicing can be arranged not only for the brands we stock but also for most other manufacturers items. Please contact us for more details.
Accepted payment methods are cheque, credit or debit card, cash or bank transfer. Paypal is an option only of last resort as it is so expensive ! We are also very happy to accept your existing equipment in part exchange, or sell your old equipment for you on a commission basis.
New equipment purchased from us can be set up and installed ( if required ) free of charge. A small charge for this service may be required if the customer is not considered to be local. Please contact us for more information.
Advice is free and, more importantly totally impartial as we are not tied to any one particular manufacturer or suppler. A Long-term customer relationship is what we are looking for. The list of brands stocked reflects our aim of supplying only the very best, and potential additions are very carefully considered and not simply taken on using a "flavour of the month" mentality.
