                                                                                                                                      I have worked on the artistic side of wood since 1976 when I gave up a technical job in London and moved to Wales and took an interest in carving traditional Welsh lovespoons, which incidently I do down to this day. I later travelled the length and breadth of the USA by motorcycle making and and selling the aforementioned. This taste for adventure led me to working in S.Africa for 5 years where my carving moved into the realm of carved mirrors, 3d mythical and wildife sculptures and other imaginative treen. A return to Scotland in 1986 began a career in the Scottish arts and crafts world where since that date I have worked supplying galleries, craft shops and direct public sales at craft fairs from home. My work has been purchased by a number of celebraties such as  Anita Roddick,  ( former founder of BODY SHOP ) and various titled Scottish nobles. The castle at Dunvegan on Skye commissioned a particularly large Grim Reaper to sit in the Dungeon area and I am the main Burr bowl supplier to The Scottish Natural Heritage.

Everything purchased from me would be brand new and have been made by hand by myself.

Wood is highly tactile ands its true qualities only really come to the foreground when physically held.
