Our terms and conditions.
The present general terms and conditions of sale apply to the distance-selling operation of R and J E'Trading, Including Rob and Jayne’s Electronics Inc Collectables and cover all sales to its customers (you) through the eBay site as well as orders from other sites.
We reserve the right to amend the present general terms and conditions of sale at any time, with the proviso that details of all amendments are published on our website.
In order to place an order and to enter into a legally binding contract with us, you must be over 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse to accept your order if we find that you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Buying
Clicking the Bid or Buy It Now button acknowledges that you agree to the purchase, If you are the winning bidder as well as to the present general terms and conditions, in their entirety and without exception. Data recorded by bid or Buy It Now constitutes proof of all transactions between R and J E'Trading and its customers.
Data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of financial transactions Product and prices are valid as advertised
Delivery
Products are delivered to the delivery address given when the order was placed. Delivery is processed same or next day, no collections or deliveries are made Saturday or Sunday All items are sent via a secure delivery service, trackable UK and Overseas.
Payment
You have a choice of payment methods.
We no longer accept cheques, a postal order is fine.

Condition of Ownership All goods remain the property of R and J E'Trading until receipt of payment in full, including added postage costs if appropriate.
Exchange and refunds
Goods supplied by Rob and Jayne’s are guaranteed against defects for a total of 14 days.
You have 14 working days from the date of receipt to inform us of any defect with the product.
Overseas buyers will be liable for the cost of return postage. Refunds will be made to the same account as payment made otherwise a refund will be made by cheque upon receipt of the returned goods
Distance selling.
Applies to Buy It Now’s only and not items purchased via auction. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, buyers have a period of 7 working days after the date of delivery within which they can cancel the Order and get their money back, including the original postage and packing charges.
Where the goods are not faulty or wrongly delivered by us the goods must be returned at your cost. If you are not able to return the goods we can arrange to collect the goods and deduct the direct cost from the refund. An item must be in the same condition as when received ALL leads remotes etc must be included any missing item/s will be charged at cost

This Agreement shall be construed and performed in accordance with and shall be governed by English law and you should submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts
WEEE Regulations:
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.
R and J Etrading are happy to offer to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a Electrical or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a customer bought an amplifier from us we would accept their old equivalent amplifier and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely.
Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
You may drop off the item free or post it to us at your cost.
