Welcome to my ‘Me’ page

so, more about me!
I am a girl (women) in my mid 30’s with a passion for shoes! I work in London but use ebay to fund my ‘hobby’… or is it an obsession? I have hundreds of shoes.. some worn to destruction and others hardly worn… as I fill my walk in shoe cupboard some need to find new homes…people who will use them and love them as they deserve to be loved!
Although of Swiss descent, English is my first language, although I speak French, German, Spanish and a little Italian too, not fluent but enough to answer any questions you may have?
I love Shoes…. That’s obvious, but I ask myself why????
I have hundreds of shoes, from killer heels to pretty ballet shoes.. strappy sandals that show the sexiness of the well formed arch…to boots which I love too…
To me shoes are theatre..I wear them and I can be anyone I like..a temptress..a ballerina..but you cant be a dominatrix in a pair of trainers???
I love the way good shoes elongate the leg, lift the bottom and make me walk with a sassy and sexy swagger.. all women know this, as do the men that admire them….
I don’t need the height of heels, being 5’10” already – but who doesn’t like to tower over those to feel superior? But its also about the shoe as a foot covering…and feet are my passion too, I spend more time painting and preening my feet than my face, as to me there are prettier and sexier than heavy make up or cleavage..although I have that both of these too!
The foot fetish is the most common of all fetishes, so common, in fact, that it should probably be considered part of the "norm." Humans may very well be predisposed to eroticizing feet because feet have apocrine sweat glands... the same type of pheromone-producing sweat glands shared by armpits and the genital region. These smells play a huge role in sexual attraction for most mammals and humans are no different. It's quite possible that when proto-humans walked on all fours in the African veldt, foot odors were used to mark our paths and indicate our health and sexual availability. Unfortunately, in our culture feet have become taboo -- they symbolize dirtiness, animalness, ugliness and all of the things that we must keep under control and keep invisible... and maybe that's part of their appeal.
Another subset of the foot fetish is the pantyhose and stocking fetish. Pantyhose and stockings are perfect receptacles for foot stink, and "cook" the smells to a heady ripeness. To hear a pantyhose fan wax lyrical about his fetish is akin to listening to a wine connoisseur discuss the aromatic "bouquet" of his preferred Bordeaux.
but did you know, that it was MEN who really began wearing heels for show around the 1600's? They wore mule styles and only the rich and aristocratic wore them - hence the term 'well-heeled' meaning rich. Womans shoes at the time were plain, low and hidden. It wasn't until centuries later women began to exposed a very 'hosed' leg and a lace up heel.
Back in the 70's men also wore heels – Cuban heel boots were all the rage…Tom Cruise could do with some…hehehe
Also, looking back in time, men would wear 'slippers' or what became skimmers with tux's. I still see the rich men wearing what would look like a dolly pump usually in black velvet with a tux.
So ultimately…..Feet are really just another part of the human body, one with a tremendous number of very sensitive nerve endings. They should be worshipped and adored….
You may be surprised to find that these people were foot fetishists!
