Pirate Radio Collections

One of my great passions in life (Apart from my family) is Pirate Radio ….. that is Pirate Radio from the 60’s and 70’s.

My favourite Radio station was RNI, or Radio Northsea International, closely followed by Radio Veronica and Radio Seagull.

Since I found out I was not alone and there were other people out there that had a similar passion / hobby, I have spent many many hours , weeks and years collecting, buying, swopping, cleaning and transferring from old reel to reel tapes, C90’s etc to MP3.

All programs offered for sale have been cleaned and checked for faults….. although the odd one still slips through the net!

And it gives me pleasure to share these with other fellow enthusiasts, who maybe don’t have the technical ability or the time to spend searching the internet and hours (And sometimes days!) downloading a program only to find its rubbish and not worth listening too ………….been there… done that and boy is it soooo annoying!

The 99p that most disks sell for, doesn’t even cover the cost of the listing fee’s, FV fee’s, post, packing, printing costs and the cost of the CD’s and cases. So why do I do it?

I passionately believe that Pirate Radio from the 60’s and 70’s played a major role in making all that is good in modern radio today………… sadly there are some not very good examples, and there is far too much talking and chit chat on too many radio stations today for my liking.

I want to try and keep the memory of Pirate Radio alive.

Occasionally the odd disk will sell for a few quid, and this is most appreciated as it allows me to go and search the car boot sales for more old tapes!

99.99% of all radio programs created before 1978 are ….or have become Public Domain.

Pirate Radio Collections are not trying to deprive the original creators of any monies due to them and if I have accidentally violated any copyright please let me know immediately and accept my sincere apologys.

I will remove immediately any program that is shown to violate any copyright.

The law changed in 1978 which means that most (But not all) programs created after 1978 are protected by copyright.

Once a program becomes part of the public domain it cannot be copyrighted.

Should anyone require additional information regards this very important and interesting subject, please ask and I will be pleased to give you web links where you can find more information.

It is therefore rare you will find any radio program dated after 1978 in the Pirate Radio Collection.

And a few words about the other products I sell………

I always endeavor to be 100% honest in all my listings, but occasionally get it wrong or make a mistake.

But we all make mistakes occasionally and if I do make a mistake, please contact me so that I can be given the chance to rectify the situation.

I will never knowingly sell anything that is not 100% genuine.

I will never knowingly sell fakes, copies or replica goods, but I do sell things I bought many years ago and no longer have receipts. I occasionally sell goods that belonged to my parents or relatives and again some of these may not have receipts, BUT I will make you aware of this is when in the listing.

Almost everything I sell comes with a moneyback guarantee, if this does not apply I’ll make this clear in my listing.

I would remind all bidders that a winning bid is a legally binding contract and if you have not done so recently read "your user agreement"
