SilverWinds is an established specialist woodwind shop serving the south west. As Cornwall's fastest growing woodwind specialist we have recently expanded into new residence at Foundry Farm, Hayle. New services include a range of new and secondhand instruments along with a complete range of accessories and music.

For The Student
Sometimes choosing a new or second hand instrument can be confusing for the student. With this in mind, SilverWinds stocks a specific range of new and second hand instruments. With the added option of renting an instrument for up to six months, we offer total peace of mind for parents. Our woodwind specialists are on hand in the shop at all times, to help students select the correct instrument for their ability, and to guide students and parents toward the correct music tutor books. We also hold a list of local instrumental teachers for those starting out.

For The Improving Musician
As a student improves, they will usually want to upgrade their initial instrument to something that will help them through their grade exams and beyond. At SilverWinds we will help students to choose their upgrade instrument, and will allow them to part exchange their old instrument for a competitive price. We stock all graded music, tutor books and technique guides for those seeking to improve. Our stock also includes all accessories, reeds and cases that the improving musician requires.
For The Professional
SilverWinds has a great relationship with suppliers of professional level instruments for the working musician. We have available models from Yamaha, Pearl Flutes, Buffet Crampon and Yanagisawa. Our shop stocks the full range of all Vandoren and Rico reeds and products, allowing you to choose and specify what you want from your reed or instrument.
