Simplymusic was originally set up way back in the ‘90’s by two DJ’s who had a mad passion for dance music of all kinds. Having ran several successful club nights on the dance circuit in the UK, and built up a strong network of like minded DJ friends and music musos. Finding it difficult themselves to get their hands on the latest big tunes, new releases and sought after remixes, they realised that there was a huge demand for these tracks, plus an even bigger demand for all those hard to find classic dance tracks that had by now been deleted.

Originally supplying their close circle of friends on the music scene, this snowballed as more and more people came their way via recommendation and word of mouth. Setting up a catalogue, then a small shop, brought them even closer to a wider audience of music fans.

With demand for more and more musical styles and formats from both DJ’s and collectors alike, we broadened our collection so that we now stock a wide range of musical styles. Moving forward with technology, we have now moved our catalogue online and use eBay as the host for our catalogue.

You can find anything from original 1960’s Pop, Ska, Soul, Motown and Jazz recordings, to ‘70’s Progressive Rock, Ambient Electro, Chart Hits, Glam Rock and Punk. From ‘80’s New Wave, Disco, Heavy Metal, Gothic to Electronic Pop and Two Tone. From ‘90’s Thrash Metal, Rave, Acid House, Garage and Hard House to Pop Bands and Orchestral. We also have a wide selection of releases from the 2000’s including many new releases and promotional items, 7”, 10”, 12” and Vinyl Albums, plus CD Singles and Albums. With an excellent selection of quality pressings including Picture Discs, Coloured Vinyl and Audiophile Pressings. All of our stock is in either New, Mint or Excellent Condition. We do not sell badly scratched or warped records. So you can be sure that whatever you are buying from us, it is guaranteed to be in the top condition as advertised.
