Me and one of our large refractors

Hi, I'm Alan and my business is Sky's the Limit.  You will find me trading under skies_unlimited on Ebay as there are frequently no limits to what I will consider selling something for.

I started the business 4 years ago and have enjoyed using my interpersonal skills in communicating.  I used to be a Primary School Head Teacher hence I am used to being asked all sorts of questions.  As we used to reinforce to our pupils, there is no such thing as silly question.  If you are not sure of something then ask.

I took early retirement just to have some enjoyment in the real world and here I am importing astronomical and optical gear from China.  I have some great contacts over there who try to get anything for me - even making it if the product does not exist.

At the outset, I wanted to treat customers as I would only dream of being dealt with.  Low prices, fast replies and no loss guarantees about the products.  I was not going to rip people off with excessive shipping charges and a modest profit is good enough.

I do this more as a hobby than a business and compared to battling OFSTED this is brilliant fun!
