Product details
All products sold on our listings are brand new; we DO NOT sell used or refurbished items unless stated. All the products conform to relevant British Safety standards and suitable for children to play with, with the age group stated. Please be aware that due to continuous stock change we reserve the right to change product details such as the colour and other minor details without your prior knowledge.

Warranty & Returns Policy details
All items sold on our listings carry 6 Months return to base warranty unless otherwise stated. With any faults, damages or missing parts should be reported within 7 days of the customer receiving the item. No exceptions will be allowed and the management of Smart Play Zone reserve the right to withdraw this warranty at any given time.

In the event of an item being faulty or damaged when delivered, Smart Play Zone will aim to repair the product by sending replacement parts out to the customers address as soon as possible. If the item develop faults within 28 days of recieving, we will undertake the carriage costs incurred to get the item back to our warehouse for repair or replacment. After this period the customer will be liabale to send the car back to our warehouse for repair or replacment. There will also be customer's responsibility to package the item back to either in its orignial packaging or adaquate packaging. We will aim to get the item repaired and back to you within 28 working days and if this does not happen we will replace the item. Where a replacement is not available a full refund will be offered at the manager’s discretion.

Where an item is faulty we would advise customers to phone us directly so our technicians can guide them through some simple trouble shooting steps. When returning items can you please enclose a covering letter stating your full details including order number, a daytime contact number and the reason for return.

Batteries
Please note that Smart Play Zone only offer 30 days warranty for the batteries that are provided with any items sold from eBay, In every sale the item is checked by out staff prior to despatch and the battery is fully tested. If in a situation the item becomes un-useable due to a faulty battery then the customer will be liable for Courier charge incurred to get the replacement battery out. Smart Play Zone will provide the battery free of charge but the shipping charge must be met by the customer. This is providing that the battery is within the warranty period. After Warranty period, the customer is liable to pay for the battery and shipping cost.

Delivery
Delivery will be undertaken by one of our courier services namely Parcel Force or City Link and on bulkier items such as the 2 Seater jeeps this will be undertaken by Parcel Line. No refund is allowed where the courier company has failed to deliver the item on a particular service. For example an item delivered through 24 hour post and the customer not receiving the item in the given time due to delay by the courier company. If a courier company has tried to deliver the item but have not found anyone to take delivery then it will become the customer’s responsibility to pay for re-delivery charge incurred.

Packaging
Please note that in the event of the customer returning the goods, you must return it in the original packaging sent with the item. Returns WILL NOT be accepted if the customer has failed to use adequate packaging or has not returned it in the original box. We advise that if there are storage problems due to the size of the box - you flat pack it and store it safely. There will be a £25 admin charge if the correct packaging has not been used.

Damage in Transit
We appreciate due to the size and shape of the boxes we send to you, they may be vulnerable to damage in transit by the couriers. If this happens to your item then you must report this within 24 hours of you receiving the item. So it leaves enough time for our staff to claim on the couriers insurance. If the item is not repaired by sending replacement parts then we will replace the entire item at our discretion.

Peace of Mind guarantee
Smart Play Zone offers a 7 day peace of mind guarantee with all items sold. Should a customer choose not go ahead with the transaction then Smart Play Zone will arrange to get the item picked up and a refund offered. Please note that delivery and the collection charge will be deducted from the refund and there is also a £10 admin charge for this service.

Blow Mould Manufacturing process
This a process which is used by the manufacturers to make most of the ride on cars that we sell, the process involves blowing sheets of plastic with hot air to make the moulds required for the production of the car. Sometimes the moulds can have minor scuffs or very small scratches caused by material flowing in the air as the plastic is very hot this can mark the body of the car. This does NOT cause any materiasltic flaws within the body and does not affect the strength or durability of the body. They are just minor cosmetic flaws and usually only affect one in ten items we sell. Smart Play Zone will not accept any returns back due to this and this no reason to claim the item as faulty.

Collection of goods
We offer our customers the choice of picking the item up from our warehouse in Dewsbury from Monday to Friday 10 – 8 and on Saturdays 10 – 5. All collections will be charged at £10 for bigger items such as ride on jeeps and cars and £5 for smaller items such as RC and other baby products. Please contact us if you are unsure which applies to which item.

Wholesale
We welcome all types of wholesale enquiries and are able to supply businesses with the option of the goods being delivered at there preferred time. Please contact us for more information on this. Goods are available at wholesale prices where there is 5 or more items to be ordered. We can provide customised quotations for anyone looking to order in bulk.
