ABOUT HKC KNITTING

I have been in the Knitting Machine
business since 1985. I opened my first shop in Bishop's Stortford, I
soon followed up with a second much larger shop in Harlow Essex two
years later. I became one of the largest knitting machine mail order
companies in the UK specialising in Brother machines. I have my own
Brother trained engineer, I sold all the different yarns, books &
accessories, so I became a one stop shop for the machine knitting
enthusiast. I have written & published over twenty machine knitting
pattern books I have also published a number of books written by other
well known designers.
Today I only trade by mail order selling mainly second hand Brother,
machines & accessories with a large number of new spares. I also look
after a number of textile colleges and universities. I still have my own
knitting machine engineer and I am still teaching and advising on
machine knitting as well as selling my own publications.
