My name is Jon, and I've been buying and selling on eBay since August 2005. Origionally set up in my mum's name due to my age at the time, I am now the main buyer and seller as 'theonlyjanb'.

I'm 20 Years old and live in Lowestoft, Suffolk. I am currently a full time student who studies and spends alot of my time in and around Norwich.

I specialise in buying and selling Fiat Panda parts as I seem to have a bit of an obsession with collecting them (both Panda's and their parts that is). I'm not sure what else you can call it when you have 3 of them and had upto 7 at any one time! Due to this I buy any spare parts I need, and sell any surplus spare parts to other needy Panda owners.

I also have a tendancy to by different parts and bits 'n' bobs for my daily runner, my Fiat Stilo.

I also sell a number of other items on eBay. These vary from Automotive accessories, to general household goods.

My buying habbits are also varied, and I tend to use eBay as one massive shop, when I come to get anything I may need, that I believe I can get for a better price on eBay then I may be able to get it at elsewhere online or on the highstreet.

My eBay ethics involve giving buyers the best service I possibly can. The key to this I believe is communication! I always believe in communicating directly with the buyer before involving eBay in any problems. This is because I understand that we all lead and live very different and indivual lives, and that not every eBay member is online 24/7. As a seller the only thing I ask of buyers is that they communicate with me (I normally understand and make any allowances for problems a buyer may have if they let me know of them in due course), pay in a reasonable time (upto 7days or more if agreeded before hand) and leave +ve feedback upon their item arriving and them being happy with it.

Upon a buyer not being satisfied, I would ask of them to contact me, and await a response as I can normally rectify any/all problems. Leaving -ve feedback straight away isn't going to help solve the problem.

As a seller I believe in being very honest with buyers. When I sell items I always try to be as reasonable with my P+P costs, with can often be seen if I'm selling something other people are selling on eBay, because my P+P will normally be equal to, or lower than rival eBayers.

Upon recieving +ve feedback from a buyer, I always leave feedback, and you can check that for yourself using the feedback checking feature that eBay hosts.

As a buyer, I always pay within a reasonable time and treat sellers how I myself would like to be treated. E.g, pay within a reasonable period and leave +ve feedback when the item arrives and I've checked it. I also pride myself on giving them the chance to rectify any problems I have before esculating it to eBay/PayPal.

I hope this has given you a little insite into how I operate on eBay, and hope it inspires you to buy one of my items, knowing that you will have a hassle and stress free transaction, and that I am a real and understanding person. A feature that not all sellers seem to have.
