theukdressmaker ABOUT US Evening Dress 1 Terms & Conditions of Sale Firstly, please be assured that our aim is to have you as a satisfied customer. To help us to achieve this, we ask that you use these terms and conditions as guidance and, in the event that there is anything in the way of you being a satisfied customer, to contact us. Your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms & conditions. We fully comply with ebay's own rules and all relevant legislation including, but not limited to - The Sale of Goods Act - The Trades Descriptions Act - Distance Selling Regulations - E-Commerce Regulations Check out ebay's legal guidance for business sellers here for an overview. What to expect from us Before you buy - Clear, accurate descriptions and actual pictures of the product - Listings only for items that are in stock, ready for prompt dispatch - Clear, accurate prices and charges for post and packaging in each listing - The option to contact us with any questions before you buy through the Ask Seller a Question facility or directly by email When you buy - Appropriate notification, through the ebay messaging system, that you have made a purchase and paid for your purchase. After you buy - Notification that your goods have been dispatched. We aim to despatch the next two working day and try our very best to achieve this. - Delivery of your goods is usually by Royal Mail and it is likely that the parcel will need to be signed for on delivery. Unless otherwise stated we use First Class, Second Class or Standard Parcels services so your parcel will usually arrive in 1 to 15 days from the date of dispatch. When your goods arrive - check the contents of the parcel to match your order! - be carful when trying on the garment and please notify as as soon as possible that you wish to exchange the size. We are unable to gurantee that we another size but we do offer a full money back guarantee with 14 working days please see below - Feedback will be left for you shortly after you have left feedback for us. We take your feedback as an indication that you are satisfied with the transaction; our feedback to you shows that we are also satisfied with the transaction. Descriptions We try to ensure that all descriptions are accurate. All items are brand new. On the very rare occasion that this is not the case, this will be clearly stated in the description. Very occasionally, the item will differ in some small detail from the photograph this is mainly due to different monitor settings. All pictures are of the actual dress no photo enchaning programes have been used! Payment Ebay requires that you pay for your item within seven days of the end of the auction. We accept the following methods of payment: · Paypal · Personal cheque in GBP sterling · Postal order in GBP sterling · Bankers draft in GBP sterling Payment via Cheques please allow seven days for the cheque to clear once we have received the payment. Please send your cheques to our place of business to: United Global Trading Ltd, 76 Warleigh Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN14NS Delivery All items are sent within two working days after receipt of cleared funds. We are always happy to send to an address other than that given on your Ebay or Paypal account. All our dresses are disaptched with royal mail signed for service. Please note we do not dispatch on Saturday! Postage & Packing Our postage and packing charges include handling and other related costs as well as the actual postage and packing costs. Items are sent double wrapped to ensure they are not damaged and arrive with you safely. Items sent within the UK are sent by Royal Mail first class recorded post. Items sent overseas are sent by Royal Mail Air Mail. Free P&P Charging - in case we have a special offer for free shipping this would be indicated on the ebay search system and below the purchase price - because this is a limited offer it will still state the original cost of packaging. Returns & refunds If you are not completely satisfied with your item, you may return it within fourteen days for a refund. You are responsible for ensuring that the item comes back to us in the condition it was sent out and for the cost of returning the item to us. All we ask is that you enclose a note in the package with your name and address and the auction number. We would also strongly recommend that you send back the item recorded so you have proof. Lost in the post It's rare, but unfortunately items sometimes do get lost in the post. If you have not received your item within 7 working days of the despatch date, please let us know asap. We will make a claim through Royal Mail for a lost item of post. This process takes approximately three weeks. We will either replace your item, or refund your payment as soon as Royal Mail’s investigations are completed. Quality We always try to give the highest standard of service and sell goods which are of the best quality. If you have any cause for complaint, please do contact us so that we can try and put the matter right. Data Protection We will not pass on any information about you to anyone else. The only exception to this will be if the information is requested by the Police or other legitimate government body. What we expect from you - That you will carefully read the listing and ask any necessary questions to be as sure as you can be that you purchase the correct item. - That you pay promptly by one of the payment options that we offer. If we don't receive your payment we will, after 7 days, start the Unpaid Item Process. - That you contact us if your goods don't arrive or if there is anything else stopping you being a satisfied customer, we will do everything that we can to help. - That you leave appropriate feedback for us when the transaction is concluded (we will do the same for you). Communications We strongly recommend that you use the My Messages / Ask Seller a question functions to communicate with us. This is especially true if you use an email service / ISP with a 'keen' spam filter (especially AOL, Hotmail and the like). Although we try to respond to all questions, it is obvious to us that many questions from some ISPs never reach us and even more obvious that our responses are often caught up in spam filters. Finally, we hope.. - That you really enjoy the items that you buy from us and that you come back, often, for more! - That you consider adding theukdressmaker to your favourite sellers list and that you join our mailing list to keep up to date with new arrivals, special offers and the like. Evening Dress 2 Listings To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received. Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
