Hello and welcome to the world of Tinywhippet. I have been an antique dealer and collector for many years now, my main interests are the Georgian era and lurcher/long dog related items. I do hope you like the items I offer up for sale.
I try my very best to describe items accurately and if possible I will date them. If an item is described as 'antique', I mean that it is at least 100 years old. An item described as vintage, I believe to be between the dates 1909 to 1980, most items I sell will fall between these two catogories, however I will sometimes sell new or used items that are neither vintage or antique.
If you purchase an item from me, once paid for I will acknowledge payment with an email and ship the item as soon as possible.
I do not make money on postage but I do charge for materials, such as jiffy bags and bubble wrap etc. I send all items within the UK recorded delivery, however if the sale should exceed £39 I will send it registered post which will included insurance up to the value of £500.
Please feel free to contact me regarding combined postage if you have bid or are bidding on more than one item.
For overseas buyers, due to items going missing in the post I will now only post via 'international signed for', if you find this service too expensive please do not bid on my items.
Once all payments have cleared, I post the following day. In some cases, if the item has been paid for early in the morning, I may post that day.
I always leave feedback as buyer, as a seller I leave feedback once I have delivery confirmation and know you are happy with the item. Rather than leave negative feedback I would prefer buyers to return any item they are not happy with. Once the item has been returned I will refund all costs except return postage.
I accept paypal, cheques and postal orders from UK buyers. For overseas buyers, sorry but I only accept paypal. I request items to be paid for within 5 days.
