Born in Oxford, England in 1965, started skating in '76. Never gave it up.
Over 30 years later i'm still skating & still loving it & still living in Inspector Morse country !
In '81 i started competing in skateboard contests. In the mid eighties i became the ESA (English Skateboard Association) half pipe / bowl champ. I had that title for 2 years, (although i can't remember which 2 years they were) !!
Thanks to skateboarding I have been able to travel the world doing competitions and demonstrations.
I've skated in the USA against such legends as Tony Hawk, Duane Peters, Steve Cab,' Mark Gonzales, ect, in both Vert and Street events. I even competed against current X Games champion, Sandrio Diaz, and past X Games champ, Bucky Lasek at the Soul Bowl event at Donnington 2006.
I have been lucky enough to be sponsored by a whole load of companies in the past quarter of a century, because of my vert skills !!
Rollinstock, Vision, Brand-X, Death Box, Flip, Tracker, Deadbolt, Fury, Hogs, Airwalk, Reef, Vans, Flyaway, Quicksilver, Lifes a Beach, Jimmy-Z, Rock, and a few others who i've forgotten.
I've had a few different pro decks out on Brand-X & Death Box. (as you can see below).

Basically I've lived the skateboard dream for a very long time.
Now, at the age of 43 I still compete on a semi professional level. I placed 4th overall in the 2008 UK British Vert Series, so not to bad for an old skate dog !!

Oh and as for those, "Aren't you to old for that.....You'll hurt yourself", people. Your wrong and right ?!
I'm not too old, as your never to old too have fun.......
But old age means it's a lot harder to recover. In 2000 i broke my right leg doing a show at Alton Towers. It took 6 months for me to get back on board. 6 months later i did the exterior crucia ligaments in both knees !!! 3 months out. Unfortunatly as we all know bad luck comes in threes, and in 2003 while practising for a contest at Donnington Festival soul bowl i fell 12 foot to the flat and did this...........
That was my toughest recovery as the bone took so long to heal and i now have a plate and 7 screws holding it together..........
But that's all in the past. You fall down, you get back up and try again...
