POSTAGE: I try to keep the costs of postage down and normally post second class with prompt despatch to guarantee quick delivey, or parcel post for heavier items, but I can quote for first class if required. Please email me for first class postage. For overseas, I normally send Airmail. If you would like surface mail then please email for current postage rate. For signed items we can send through Airsure Signed For Service for an extra £4.20 on top of postal charge.
Combine purchases to save postage.
For UK only, when buying two items, the lighter book goes post free.

PAYMENT: We accept Paypal in UK and Worldwide. If paying by cheque please allow 5 working days for cheques to clear. We will notify you when the cheque has been received. Please pay within 7 days but under certain circumstances we can reserve books upon request after the usual 7 day payment period. For overseas buyers paying by cheque, please pay in British £s.
The photograph of Thomas is our first cat who sadly died two years ago, shortly after I set up the bookselling business. The children wanted me to name my site after him. The site used to be Tommbooks, but now we are concentrating on history, have decided to change the name, but carry on including the Cat!
