Hi, I'm Mike Payn.

I'm a motor bike enthusiast and a Land Rover enthusiast, not such a strange a combination as you might think. I get my thrills (and spills) from my bikes, the Land Rovers are just as much fun to drive but remind me that speed isn't everything. At present I run an old 1966 Series IIa Petrol and an 1994 Automatic 200 tdi Discovery. I bought the Discovery whilst recovering from a smashed left leg following a bike accident, and I've grown attached to it - Poor thing does get abused around our country tracks and lanes (I live on the edge of Exmoor).

My eBay History started as a buyer only, and then to clear my unwanted/unused junk, then whilst off sick, as an extra scource of income. I now use eBay to sell off surplus odds and ends and to buy spares for the cars and anything else I need I always check eBay first. I try to be fair and treat my buyers the way I would like to be treated, especially when I sell things for much, much less than I hoped !! I recently sold an intercooler for just over a quid but of course still gave the buyer, who paid promptly and sent friendly emails, good feedback. Unlike the guy I bought an old/used item for just over from, who gave me rubbish feedback - Oh well, fortunately people like that in our eBay community are rare.

I am partly self-employed running a documentation business but also working nights as a Factory Food Hygiene team leader. My hobbies are Off-Roading, DIY, we keep chickens, Music (Modern Jazz in all its variants and folk music). We are currently renovating our sixteenth century cottage but it's a long slow process !
