I'm 60 years old, and have been a full time National watch & clock dealer for over 25 years. The first eighteen years operating a vintage watch store in West Los Angeles. 1992 to present we have been operating by appointment only in Santa Monica. Yes, I guess you could refer to me as "an old timer" in this business.
It's been over 25 years since I attended my first National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) convention (Member #035160). In 1973 I was a corporate employee and a clock and watch collector. It all began with an interesting idea. I thought that I would purchase huge quantities of watches & clocks at NAWCC conventions and sell them at a local flee market. That was the Westwood Village midnight flee market located in California next to the U.C.L.A. Campus. I sold literally buckets of watches publicly at any cheap price to anyone and everyone for the next four years. It was a hobby gone public! That was 1973, I still go to the NAWCC conventions, buy collectible watches and present them to my collector friends.
Yes, I love doing this, because every watch has a unique history and represents the most expensive personal object in it's day.

SHIPPING AND INSURANCE:Title and risk of loss shall pass to the Buyer when the Seller delivers the Property to the Shipper for delivery. The Buyer through the shipper shall process any loss, theft, or damage from that point in time. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Seller shall provide all necessary assistance to the Buyer in resolving any such claims with the shipper and/or the insurer.SHIPPING AND INSURANCE:Title and risk of loss shall pass to the Buyer when the Seller delivers the Property to the Shipper for delivery. The Buyer through the shipper shall process any loss, theft, or damage from that point in time. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Seller shall provide all necessary assistance to the Buyer in resolving any such claims with the shipper and/or the insurer.


RETURNS: The original Buyer shall have the right to inspect and rescind the transaction within 2 days by so notifying the Seller and returning the merchandise using the same packing materials within three business days of receiving the Property to the Seller, in the same condition as when received by the Buyer, at the Buyer's risk, cost and expense if Property purchased is materially different (as of the time immediately prior to shipment to the Buyer) than as represented by the Seller. Upon such return, Seller shall refund to the Buyer a full refund in the amount of the purchase price of the item, excluding all amounts paid to the Seller for insurance, packing and shipping. Seller shall remit to Buyer the amount of the required refund as set forth above for repayment within three business days of receipt of merchandise.
