WELCOME TO WESTCOUNTRYWYTCHE
I am a practising witch, as were my mother, grandmother and a long line of maternal forbears before me. My 4 times grandmother, Elizabeth, was the high priestess and founder of the Trescalic coven, which practised on the border of Dartmoor. We primarily follow and practise the ancient rules of Witchcraft, which involves both White and Black Magic .. necessary, we believe, to obtain the balance and strength needed for successful results.
The coven still thrives after more than 300 years, and although we are more integrated into society than in the past, there is still a huge demand for our help in many different ways. It was because of this demand that we decided to offer a limited number of our items to a wider audience - online.
I am sure that some folk question why, if we, or any sellers, have such powerful and magical items, would we part with them?
I can't answer for other sellers, but in our case the answer is simple.......
I have one ring which I wear constantly. It was handed down to me from my great grandmother, so has both sentimental and magical value for me. I occasionally wear other rings, perhaps to test them, or to help in spell casting, ceremonies etc., but I doubt I shall ever find another with which I have such a powerful bond as I have with "my" ring.
With the exception of some ceremonial items, kept for occasional use, most witches, in my experience, find that they work best with one magical item (usually a ring) which they have made "their own". We have many vintage coven rings, all extremely powerful in their own right, but because all current coven members have their own "chosen" rings, these are no longer worn. Some of them have been apprentice coven witch rings and have been outgrown, but more commonly a loaned ring might be worn as an everyday ring, until a witch married and chose to make her wedding ring her unique personal magical item.
It's not so long ago that to personally own a ring of any value was an enviable achievment. Most witches were poor women, so were loaned a "working ring" from the coven. Nowadays, as rings are inexpensive and readily available to all, no new witch needs to "borrow", thus we have a large number we no longer need.
Rather than have them lying forever in a box, we would prefer to pass them on to be used once again, as they were destined to be.
There are currently 12 members of the coven, we each have different abilities and specialities. For this reason, I do not work alone, but consult with my sister witches on all aspects of our common faith. As an example, whilst I believe in faeries and all things fey, I do not have a special interest in them, and rely upon coven member Vivienne, who has experienced faeries for over 50years and is a specialist in the subject, to describe any faerie item listed.
All items have been tested by the coven for genuine spiritual power and magical energy, and before leaving our care will be triple-blessed as a matter of course.
.............................................................................
I am often asked if we have any items for sale which will guarantee financial gain. The answer is NO. We are a genuine coven with genuine beliefs and aspirations, and I personally doubt that such a magic item exists. If I ever find one with a cast-iron guarantee of wealth I shall keep it. I doubt if I would still be here, and if I was, item location would probably read "Bahamas"......................
Many items offer wealth potential - not all will help lottery wins etc - they can also bring indirect wealth -perhaps by giving you that extra bit of confidence which leads to promotion at work etc. A lady recently told me that she has been an aspiring novelist for years, but has only recently had a small book published. The inspiration for this book she attributes to the purchase of a ring from us ..........
So what if you buy a magical item (from any seller) and it doesn't "work"? If you are reading this, or considering buying, the chances are that you already have a genuine interest in magic, and probably already have more ability than you realise. All items, however powerfully charged, require interaction from you.
A very wise old witch once told me that a magical item is akin to an old fashioned radio. Everything's there, in working order, but you have to connect it to a power supply (you), then - if you don't get quite the "reception" you'd hoped for, you need to do a bit of fine tuning, possibly through meditation. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you feel in need of help in this or any other matter.
I'm sometimes asked if cleaning an item will harm it. Magic items require no different care from any other jewellery item. Most of our rings are 925 silver, and are unharmed by the very occasional use of silver dip. Some time ago an over-zealous coven member decided to improve the look of many of the rings by "silver-dipping" them......they looked lovely, you could see your face in them .... but they no longer looked their age, and for this reason I now insist that the rings as sent just as they are.
Do magical items carry side effects? Often people will report tingling of fingers, overall feelings of warmth, or sometimes, headache upon initial wearing. Such feelings are caused by initial exchange of energy between the wearer and the item. The greatest reaction will be felt by the most sensitive people, but the effects are temporary and will gradually fade to nothing over a day or two as the item bonds with it's new owner/keeper.
BLACK MAGIC .... Is it dangerous?
Black magic is often perceived of as evil, associated with Satan, zombies and all manner of malevolant creatures. In fact, Black magic is very little different from White magic, except that it tends to be a stronger form of magic, where darker forces are called upon to assist. I , and the coven, believe that both forms are essential in creating effective spells.
It does require a high level of knowledge and competence, but In correct balance with the more common White magic, and appropriate ancient spells, it creates a superlative power.
This coven holds records of these ancient spells... some date back to medieval times and are unique to us .. many of which we perform to astounding effect .......
We would never offer for sale any item which we believe to contain any form of negative energy.... you can be sure that you will never receive any item posing any possible harm to you.
Spell casting is not particulary mysterious. Given the right conditions, process and ingredients, anyone is capable of it. The trick, of course, is getting said spell to work! This is where inherited ability, experience and knowledge come in, all things our coven possess in abundance.
Please remember that no spell in the long history of witchcraft has ever been guaranteed to work .. it involves MAGIC, and Magic is a very unpredictable thing ..............
Very Best Wishes ... Nichole
